The Museum
This museum and cemetery is one of the best holiday attractions in Dublin. It is located on the Finglas Road, a couple of miles from the centre of Dublin. Various famous Irish historical figures are buried at Glasnevin including: Daniel O’Connell, Michael Collins and Eamonn De’Velara.
Getting There
- Bus number 140 leaves regularly from O’Connell Street.
- You can also catch the hop-on-hop-off bus. This open-topped bus can be caught at various points across the city.
Featured event: Padraig Pearse Oration Re-enactment
